If the beaches didn't erode and the mountains stood forever.
If the wind didn't wear away the architecture and the rain wouldn't wash away fertile soil.
If we could live our lives without pain and haters could see the death and loneliness they cause.
If the politicians could see their hypocrisy and the bureaucrats could value independence.
I would be able to step out of time and feel the sadness with you.
I'll be waiting for you in your dreams so we can cuddle in the country grass under the white clouds.
